about the festival

During the five day festival you will have the opportunity to perform in castle grounds, beautiful market towns, modern concert halls and ageless churches, depending on your group size and style of music. All this will culminate in a gala performance at Scotland’s newest performance venue, the world class Perth Concert Hall.

Festival Activities

Sample Schedule

The festival program is customized to the needs and desires of the participating ensembles.  Our commitment to customization is a major part of our promise to deliver a memorable experience for all the festival participants.  Here is a general sample flow of events we work with:

Day 1 – Opening Ceremonies with a parade and an evening gala dinner with all the participants.

Day 2 – The Gala Concert Performance in Glasgow with a Ceilidh!

Day 3 – Trip to the Highlands (the Trossachs, Glencoe, Fort William to Glenfinnan – Harry Potter’s location shoots)

Day 4 – Performance opportunity with complimentary ensembles at a castle, hall or cathedral in one of many of Scotland’s picturesque towns on the coast.

Day 5 – The Final Gala Concert in the Perth Concert Hall

All groups will have coach transportation and a dedicated festival coordinator throughout their time with us.   All fees will include breakfast, lunch & dinner from the start of festival until your departure.

additional Time

There are options to extend your time in Scotland with additional nights either before or after the festival to further explore this country whilst experiencing more bespoke performance and/or workshop opportunities.

Accommodation

With run-out performances throughout Scotland, we stay in one location: the University of Edinburgh residences.  There are 2 to 3 star options for the nights you stay with the festival (upgradable options too)

Testimonials

In my opinion the Festival has accomplished the exact meaning of music – expanding aesthetical and artistic values, encouraging positive characteristics in people and connecting them.
